Cockroach Pest Control Treatment
Where would I find them?
German cockroaches are generally found in the kitchen area and take habitat around the appliances where it is warm and moist for breeding. German cockroaches breed rapidly with the female and her offspring capable of producing 30,000 eggs in one year. This is why it is best to treat at the first signs of an infestation to avoid costly and multiple treatments.
What do they look like?
German cockroaches are smaller than the other breed of cockroaches, they are light brown/tan colour with 2 dark horizontal stripes just below the head.
How do I get rid of them?
Unfortunately there is no preventative treatment for German cockroaches as they are an introduced species that can only be treated once they become an issue. German cockroaches can be particularly hard to get rid of without the help of a professional pest controller & the correct products. The best way to determine the most suitable treatment option is to have one of our pest technicians do a free site visit to assess the infestation. Once the site visit has taken place, our technician will discuss the most suited treatment option and provide you with a quotation.

Flea Pest Control Treatment

What should I do to prepare for the treatment?
- Vacuum and mop all internal floor areas and empty vacuum bag to outside garbage bins
- Avoid vacuuming or mopping for at least 7 days after treatment
- Ensure lawns are mowed and grass clipping in garbage bins
- Movement helps the flea eggs hatch so that they therefore come into contact with the chemical - so stay active in the affected areas

Ant Pest Control Treatment
Due to the amount of ant species in our region, a free site visit is required by one of our pest technicians to assess the species, the size of the infestation and the best products suited to resolve the issue. Rodent Baiting & Rodent Pest Control Treatment
Rodent control is a very important for both the health and safety of your family. Rodents can carry and transmit many diseases and also chew through wires which can cause a fire risk to your home.
A free site visit is required by one of our pest technicians to assess extent of rodent activity and the best products suited to resolve the issue. Once the site visit has taken place, our technician will discuss the most suited treatment option and provide you with a quotation.
The most common treatment option is the installation of rodent bait to roof cavity and the option of securing the bait into a tamper resistant, lockable rodent station. The placement of the station is determined by the pest technician during the site visit and is usually placed in high activity areas.

Won't the bait cause rodents to die in the house?
We use specially formulated bait with attractant, once consumed it causes dehydration which leads the rodent to search for their water source. In most cases the rodent's water source is somewhere outside of the property, once they drink, the poison activates and causes their death.
However, it is possible that the rodents can die inside the roof, in which case one of our pest technicians can remove it for you.

Wasp Pest Control Treatment
The treatment of wasps needs to be done with extreme caution as they can become very aggressive and cause stings, which is why we recommend avoiding them and leaving the treatment to an experienced pest technician. Treatment is best to be done late afternoon as this is when they are most active in their nests. A free site visit is required by one of our pest technicians to assess the extent of bee or wasp activity and the best products suited to resolve the issue, dependent on where the nest is located. Mosquito Pest Control Treatment
Apart from being a nuisance and having to deal with the bites, itching and swelling, mosquitos also transmit several serious diseases. Studies show that some types of mosquitos can transmit virus such as Ross River, Barmah Forest and rarely Murray Valley Encephalitis all being very serious along with the risk of infections to the bite itself. What Products Are Used?
Our experienced pest specialists use a product called 'Biflex Aqua Max' that has an active constituent called 'bifenthrin' which is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide. Bifenthrin is a synthetic re-creation of the pyrethrin plant, meaning this chemical is a recreation of the natural effect that the pyrethrin plant has in controlling certain insects and pests.
This non-genotoxic product is widely used throughout the world and is a non-staining, odourless product that has no toxic effect. Bifenthrin is used as a target control insecticide which has a fast knockdown and safe residual effect.
The product is applied with misting equipment to reduce the particle size of the chemical. This method allows the chemical to attach itself to the vegetation and grass, which results in a residual effect, preventing the mosquitos from living in the vegetation.
What Should I Expect?
After the treatment, you should see a significant reduction in activity, treating the adult mosquitos and leaving a residual effect preventing them from harbouring in vegetation. However, as this is a flying insect, complete elimination is not possible when activity is at its highest so it can be expected to have some mosquitos still present.
How long the treatment will last is dependent on the environmental conditions present. After days of rainfall and water build up in areas, it is likely that the issue may reoccur, and another treatment is required. Ongoing treatments will help eliminate the future problem mosquito population growth.
How To Minimise Mosquitos At Home
- Keep your backyard clean and remove all water holding rubbish, including tyres and containers
- Keep your lawns mowed
- Clean birdbaths and water features at least once a week
- Fill the bottom of pot plants with sand to avoid larvae
- Keep anything that can hold water covered in a dry place
- Flush out the leaves of water-holding plants
- Keep drains and roof guttering clear to avoid standing water
- Cover the openings of septic tanks and rainwater tanks
